Thanks to the french artist Julien de Casiabianca and his team from the Outings Project for installing such a beautiful piece of Buddhist artwork in near the Buddhist Swoyambhu Temple in Kathamndu. Everyday scores of monks pass by and take inspiration from this piece.
We were proud to curate and provide the support needed for Julien and his team to install one of the biggest street art pieces in Nepal. This massive piece was taken from a traditional thangka painting that dates back to the 5th century. The goal of this project is to bring famous local pieces out of the museums and into the streets were everyone can see and interact with amazing works of art. Everyday thousands of people walk past this place and are inspired by the beauty and shear size of this illustration.
